Risa Hall is a native New Yorker based in Manchester. Her extensive voice over experience covers television, radio, film, audiobooks and video games. Risa is best known for her voices in Red Dwarf with Chris Barrie and for portraying Melanie Griffith’s character Margalo in the Stuart Little 2 Playstation game. You can even hear this on YouTube. Other television includes playing the announcer for Kid Creole and the Coconuts TV special for Granada and being a voice in Emmerdale at Yorkshire TV. She has done many lead roles on Radio 4 including the series Three For the Road, Four on a Tour, Bob Hope’s 100th, Thanks for the Memories, and The Strange Story of Rudolph Dunbar for the BBC. You will probably have heard Risa in endless commercials and corporates on the wireless and may even have the audiobook At Home in Mitford which she did with David Suchet, Michelle Dotrice and Dean Jones. Risa also appeared in the Broadway cast of Grease as Frenchy and as Mae in Cat On a Hot Tin Roof with Julie Graham, William Gaunt and Joe McGann. On top of all that she is a singer/songwriter who the BBC have called ‘lyrically courageous, musically eclectic’ and has released an album and two EPs.
