James Lyon - London Voice Over

James is originally from Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland but has lived in Edinburgh for the last 20 years. This geographical change has blended his Invernesian accent with an Edinburgh one, creating a more generic Scottish accent, though he can bring out the Invernesian when necessary.
Blessed with a relatively youthful voice, James has been voicing young Scottish voiceover scripts for many years . Previous clients include The Bank of Scotland, Abrdn Investments, The Scottish Government, The Electoral Commission, and the Co-op. He is also an experienced sound engineer, so understands both sides of the glass, which gives him a better understanding of direction within a session.
